Wayra means “wind” in Kichwa – a traveling, adventurous wind that carries stories, people, and dreams across Ecuador’s most breathtaking landscapes.
Born from a shared love for exploration, Wayra Adventure was created by Tania and Jorge after years of helping friends experience the Galápagos in extraordinary ways. From the Amazon Rainforest to the remote islands of the Pacific, their journeys sparked something deeper: a calling to officially launch a travel company that puts people, purpose, and nature at the center of every adventure.
Today, joined by Kelly—a Galápagos-based expert with over 15 years of experience in high-end tourism—Wayra Adventure designs tailor-made journeys with a personal touch, deep local knowledge, and genuine care. Whether it’s your first time in Ecuador or your tenth, we’re here to craft experiences that go beyond the ordinary. Raised in the heart of Ecuador’s Amazon, Jorge’s life has always been intertwined with wild nature. From his early days guiding rafting trips to logging over 4,000 dives in the Galápagos as a professional instructor, his passion for sharing authentic, transformative experiences is unmatched. Jorge believes every trip should leave you with awe, gratitude, and stories worth telling for life.

Co-Founder & Visionary Travel Architect
With a university degree in tourism and a legacy rooted in the islands—her father was a Galápagos cruise captain for over 30 years—Tania brings both heart and expertise to Wayra Adventure. Her talent lies in understanding what travelers truly seek and turning that into seamless, unforgettable journeys designed with care and precision.
